Which data

Only what you provide yourself through the contact form or WhatsApp: your name, your message and how I can reach you. Nothing else.

What it is used for

To respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to carry out the agreement. Your data is not sold and is not used for advertising.

What I base this on

Your own request for contact, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps preparatory to a contract. Where you engage me, performance of that contract, and for business records, a legal obligation.

How long

Enquiries that lead to nothing further are kept for a maximum of twelve months. Client data is kept for as long as the statutory retention period for business records applies.

Who else sees your data

The site is hosted by Netlify Inc. in the United States. Netlify stores what you send through the form and keeps technical log files containing your IP address. This takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement incorporating the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If you press the WhatsApp button, you leave this site and from that moment the terms of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., part of Meta, apply. They can see that you make contact and when. I see your message and your number, and keep them on my phone. If you would rather not, call or email instead.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and loads no external scripts, fonts or trackers. There are no visitor statistics. The host does keep standard technical log files, as every website does. No profile is built from them.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Email angelique@barks-training.com with a copy of an identity document on which the number has been blacked out. I respond within one month.
