I am Angelique, a dog behaviourist based in Jávea. In an hour and a half at your home I can usually see where things are stuck. I know more than one way to steer a dog, so you will not get the exercise that worked for the last dog. You get the approach that suits you, your dog and the situation we are trying to improve.
The first conversation costs you nothing. I usually reply the same day.
So many opinions, so many methods
In the dog world advice comes at you from every direction. One says ignore it, another says reward it, a third says your dog will grow out of it. Meanwhile you are out on the street with a dog who lunges.
That world has split into camps by now. Do anything other than what one school prescribes and you are quickly told you are being hard on your dog. I do not pick a camp. I look at what your dog needs, and I explain to you why.
I work patiently and with rewards. What your dog does well gets attention. Alongside that I work with structure, clear agreements and calm, because rewards alone give no direction. A dog who knows what is going to happen no longer needs to bark, pull or lunge.
That asks something of you, not only of your dog.

A hundred dogs, no two the same
In six years I have worked with well over a hundred dogs. Some of those cases produced assistance dogs, dogs who ended up doing work for their owner.
There are dogs I follow for months because a lot has to change, and families from the village who have me over three times and manage on their own after that.

Before we arrange anything I want to know what is going on. Tell me in a couple of minutes what your dog does, how long it has been going on and what you have tried yourself. After that I will say what I would do and whether a visit is worth it.
Sometimes that is a home consultation. Sometimes it is something you can sort out yourself and you do not need to buy anything from me. You will hear that too.

I come to your home across the Costa Blanca. Within an hour's drive there and back, the travel time is included in the fee. Beyond that I charge € 75 per hour extra, and for each town it says roughly what that means. If you live further away, a remote consultation is often the sensible first step.
