Dog behaviourist in Benidorm
Benidorm is fifty-five minutes from Jávea. A consultation at your home is possible, with roughly € 62.50 travel surcharge. A remote consultation does not cost you that travel time.
The message is ready, with your town in it.
Wat ik in Benidorm het vaakst zie
Benidorm is the busiest place on this coast, and for a dog busy mainly means there is never a break. People from every direction, suitcases, scooters, music, other dogs two metres away. A dog who is fine at home can be over threshold within ten metres of the front door.
Most dogs here live high up in a block of flats. That brings three things with it: a lift where you meet somebody on every trip, a balcony where your dog looks out over the city all day, and neighbours who notice straight away when there is barking.
The season comes on top of that. A dog who walks calmly along the seafront in January is standing in a different city in August. That is not a relapse, that is an environment that has doubled.
What people come to me with
What it costs from Jávea
Rijtijd 55 minuten. Reistoeslag about € 62,50, boven op het tarief. Hieronder reken je het zelf uit.
- Behaviour consultation at your home, € 150 incl. IVA, allow an hour and a half
- Remote consultation, € 60 incl. IVA per 30 minutes, no travel costs
What fits your situation?
Four questions. You will not get a price list back, you will get what I would do if you rang me now, and what the first step costs.
What makes it shorter
- It has not been going on for months
- You can practise ten minutes a day
- Everyone in the house does the same
- Your dog is young and nothing is stuck yet
What makes it longer
- It has been there for years
- There has already been a bite
- At home everyone does it slightly differently
- Your dog came off the street and the history is unknown
- Pain or illness plays a part
Why I do not quote a total price
I do not know how many appointments your dog needs before I have seen them. That depends on how long it has been going on, on what has already been tried, on who at home takes part, and on what your dog has been through.
Anybody who gives you a number up front is selling you a figure, not an approach. What I can do: tell you exactly what one appointment costs, and after that appointment tell you honestly what else is needed. Even if that means you do not need to buy anything more from me.
Travel costs per visit, from Jávea to you
This is how it is worked out. The starting point is the centre of Jávea. Of the total travel time there and back, the first hour is included in the fee. Anything beyond that costs € 75 per hour, pro rata per minute. For example: Valencia is an 80 minute drive, so 160 minutes there and back. Of that, 60 minutes are included in the fee, and the remaining 100 minutes come to € 125. That amount is fixed in advance, so you know it before I get in the car.

Vragen uit Benidorm
We live on the twelfth floor, is that a problem?
Not in itself. The lift and the entrance hall are part of the walk, though, so that is where we start as well.
Is Benidorm not too far for you to come?
It is possible with a surcharge. For a programme of several sessions I come out once and we do the rest remotely.
